Graceful Living was founded on the belief that quality care doesn't require sacrificing the comfort and warmth of home. We're licensed by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services as an adult care home, providing care in our home with 24/7 staffing and supervised nursing care.

Why a small home?
Most adult care facilities serve dozens—sometimes hundreds—of residents. We intentionally keep our home small because we've seen what happens when care is delivered at a human scale:
- Staff learn residents' communication styles, preferences, and needs.
- Residents form genuine friendships with each other.
- Meals feel like family dinners, not institutional shifts.
- Flexibility is possible—whether that's sleeping in, choosing activities, or having a quiet day.

Licensing and compliance
Graceful Living is licensed in Kansas as an adult care home. This means we are authorized to:
- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Offer supervised nursing services under the direction of a registered nurse
- Manage medications and coordinate with outside healthcare providers
- Operate in a small home
We maintain active coordination with residents' physicians, home health agencies, therapy providers, and hospice services as needed. For skilled nursing needs beyond our scope, we work closely with partnering agencies to ensure seamless, comprehensive care.
Our Team
Our caregiving staff are trained, screened, and genuinely passionate about this work. We maintain 24/7 staffing with registered nurse oversight to ensure clinical excellence alongside warm, personalized support.
